Two European funds have recently loaned €10m each to a Macedonian based bank Halkbank AD in order to help develop its work with energy efficiency, the housing market, and micro and small enterprises (MSE)
The European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE) and Green for Growth Fund, Southeast Europe (GGF) granted these loans in order to help the Macedonian market improve the environment and the usage of energy among the Macedonian population by providing the Macedonian market with the optimal-condition funds resulting in overall benefits.
