Finance Director | Real Estate Funds

Summary

Our client is a well-established real estate investment firm with a strong presence in Luxembourg, renowned for their commitment to delivering exceptional returns and pioneering projects. As a finance director, you’ll be the accounting leader for ongoing and new investment management businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Accounting: Review quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and investor reporting under IFRS and INREV reporting requirements.
• Oversee the completion of all Lux GAAP statutory reporting requirements
• Investor Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with and response to all investor-related requests.
• Liaise with auditors and tax advisors on all transactions and technical reporting matters.
• General support of senior team members in decision-making and execution.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and best practices, safeguarding the fund’s reputation and integrity.
• Marketing, capital raising, closing and documentation process for new investors.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• ACCA qualifications (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally in Real Estate Funds, reporting under Lux GAAP/ IFRS/ INREV.
• Experience with real estate funds and tax structuring.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of the MS Office suite, most particularly Excel, but also PowerPoint and Word.
