Recruitment Scam in Europe & the UK – Please be aware!
I just wanted to let you know that there is a recruitment scam going around Europe and the UK at the moment. Scammers are using Brand names to reach out to people offering them job opportunities for a fee. Please note, NO breach of our database occurred; scammers are obtaining information via another route. Our database is extremely secure and very well maintained by a well-known database company with an excellent service history.
Tips to avoid being scammed;
🚨Like with any scam, be wary of someone you don’t know, contacting you out of the blue, especially on WhatsApp or Telegram, asking for your personal details, and especially your bank account details.
Scams like this always increase at times of economic difficulty, like the high interest/ high inflation period we are in now.
It’s actually very easy to recognize a real Funds Talent recruiter; (or another quality recruiter);
👩 We would never contact you for the first time through WhatsApp, SMS, or Telegram.
🧑 We would never present you for a role without having extensive discussions – by phone, virtual chat, or in person, and we do this BEFORE we present you for a position.
👩🏽💼 We would NEVER ask candidates for any fees; our fees are provided by the hiring company.
👱♀️ We would never ask for your address, or bank account information.
