Senior Legal Officer
Senior Legal Officer positions can be very specific
In the corporate governance and legal space in Luxembourg. Responsibilities can range from A-Z of corporate administration duties.
Setting-up and onboarding new or existing funds, products, and clients, maintaining files and fund life cycles, transactions, closing and exits, and general duties collaborating with other internal and external teams within finance, tax, and legal.
Depending on the company and specific team, and the funds, whether it is in-house in an asset manager, service provider or management firm on AIF or UCITs, you would be working across a range of regulated and unregulated entities using your legal background and expertise working on documents and keeping in touch with investors and board members.
At senior level you would typically have juniors who you can delegate work to, acting in a supervisory capacity, or in smaller firms working in a more Assistant Leader/Manager reporting to your Head of Legal or Corporate Secretarial Function, depending on the hierarchy and size.

We are open to looking at CVs with a good Business Administration and/or Legal degree/diploma type backgrounds for these opportunities.
In some cases, there is a need for a LLM, or a preference for someone who has a Bar affiliation from abroad, but if you have experience in Luxembourg or abroad in the funds or corporate services space for the last 3-4 years minimum, we would be very interested to hear from you.
